Introduction to Moodle
What is Moodle?
Moodle is a learning management system (LMS) that allows you to access course materials, participate in discussions, submit assignments, and communicate with your instructors and peers in an online environment.
01. How to Access Moodle
- Open your web browser.
- Enter the URL provided by your institution for Moodle.
- Log in using your username and password.
02. Getting Started
- Logging In
- Go to the Moodle login page.
- Enter your username and password.
- Click the "Log In" button.
03. Dashboard Overview
Once logged in, you will see your dashboard displaying enrolled courses, upcoming deadlines, and recent activities.
04. Personalization and Preferences
- Customizing Your Profile
- Click on your profile picture or name.

- Update your profile information, including a profile picture.
- Setting Preferences for Notifications
- Access the "Notification Preferences" or "Settings" section.
- Choose your preferred notification settings for emails, forum posts, etc.
